Fourth Quarter Summary Report of the Regional External Quality Assessment Scheme – Eastern and Mekelle Zones (August 30 – September 27, 2017)

Abstract

This report summarizes the fourth-quarter activities of the Regional External Quality Assessment Scheme (REQAS) conducted in the Eastern and Mekelle Zones of Tigray from August 30 to September 27, 2017. It includes findings from onsite evaluations and external quality assessments focusing on key diagnostic services such as sputum smear microscopy, HIV rapid testing, and laboratory quality management practices. The report highlights overall performance, identifies gaps in compliance with standards, and provides recommendations for targeted improvements in laboratory quality across the participating health facilities.
