| dc.description.abstract | This dataset presents laboratory-based COVID-19 test result records collected using the COVID-19 Test Result Reporting Form developed by the Tigray Health Research Institute (THRI). The data covers the period from 27-07-2012 E.C. to 28-08-2012 E.C. and reflects testing activities conducted across health facilities and laboratories in Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia. The dataset is provided in Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) format and contains detailed information on laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including sample collection dates, patient demographics (age, sex, location), type of test performed, and final results. The reporting format aligns with regional standards for COVID-19 data collection, enabling accurate case tracking and timely public health reporting. This dataset supports surveillance, epidemiological research, and health system response planning related to the COVID-19 pandemic in the region. It is shared in accordance with the Data Access and Sharing Procedure of the Research Data Management Committee (RDMC) to ensure appropriate, ethical, and secure data usage. | |
