Abstract

This dataset contains laboratory-based COVID-19 case records compiled using the Final COVID-19 Line List and Laboratory Registration Format dated (29-03)-11-2012 E.C. The data was collected by the Tigray Health Research Institute (THRI) in Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor and manage the COVID-19 pandemic through structured surveillance and laboratory reporting.

Provided in Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) format, the dataset includes detailed fields such as patient demographics (age, sex, address), sample collection dates, type of test conducted, test results, and clinical outcomes. The format follows standardized protocols designed to ensure consistency, quality, and interoperability for health data reporting and analysis.
