"High manifestations of food insecurity and hunger among pregnant and lactating women during post-confict in Tigray, Ethiopia: a community-based study"

Abstract

This dataset is based on a community-based cross-sectional study conducted between June 24 and July 25, 2023, in selected districts of the Tigray Region, Ethiopia. The study aimed to assess the prevalence and severity of food insecurity and hunger among pregnant and lactating women during the post-conflict period. A total of 1,255 women aged 15–49 years were selected using simple random sampling (SRS). Data were collected through an adapted structured tool and analyzed using SPSS.
