Abstract

This dataset comes from a randomized controlled trial conducted between June and September 2019 in selected districts of the Tigray Region, Northern Ethiopia. The study used a two-arm, parallel design to examine the impact of calcium nutrition education on blood pressure among pregnant women. A total of 415 pregnant mothers aged 15–49 years were randomly selected using simple random sampling (SRS). The trial excluded women with pre-existing hypertension, cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic kidney disease, or obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m²). Data were collected using an adapted tool and analyzed in STATA.
